Quiet and clean. Sometimes good fishing
Quite, and easy going. I love parking and eating lunch followed by a walk along the lake. Also the great for small group events.
Not the attraction like it use to be when I was growing up but an excellent park on the lake. We have our family reunion there every year. There is swimming, fishing and a boat launch. Don't know what happened but would love to see this park com back alive like yesteryear. Village is starting to work on the park again and with any luck Sunset Lake Park will once again be a crown Jewel of Vicksburg.
I love kayaking on this little lake; the tiny channel that winds around forever, connecting to a small creek is the most peaceful thing ever!
